It's an even bigger damn shame that it was released so closely to Skyrim, and compared unfairly to it. Reckoning wasn't a Skyrim style game, and it wasn't ever really intended to be one. It was more of a modern graphics style reimagining of The Secret of Mana. Right down to it's bad♥♥♥♥♥action combat system, and multiple weapons and combat styles.

Kingdoms of Amalur DLC Quest Not Showing in Quest Log. • Fast Travel to 'Allestar Tower' • Then walked to 'Gohart' / The Town with the DLC Chest • On the way walking to between 'Stonecandle Mines' and 'Gohart' BOTH New DLC Quests 'The Legend of Dead Kel' & 'The Teeth of Naros' will show up on screen as new quests available in the Quest Log. It seems all that needed to be done was 'WALK' into Gohart, rather than teleport, But if not, 1st finish The Main Quest Line and do as listed above. I got the same exact problem for PS3. First, there is no content availble in the in game DLC Content options.
Yes, I'm signed In with a perfect Wi-fi connection. When I log to the Playstation Store from that window, there are still no content available. I bought the expansions directly from the Playsation Store by logging to it within the PS3 system, not from the ingame option.
I was able to download and install the DLC from the PS3 option (not ingame option). Still, the game does not recognize the DLC and still no content available on the ingame DLC option window.
So my guess it could be 2 things: 1- contents is now locked because maker of the game, 38 Studios, does no longer exist because of bankruptcy. 2- some particular system configuration on your system is blocking the DLC activation (bug) A patch from 38 Studios could fix the problem, but this won't happen cause like I said, they no longer exist.
Could EA programmers open the source code and fix it? I have no idea. EA recommends the following on their troubleshooting forum: 'We are aware that sometimes your purchased DLC for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning may not activate (or function) properly. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
If you purchased your DLC for PC, please contact an Advisor and they would be happy to assist you. Just go to and log in using the Origin account associated with your game and DLC purchases. If you purchased your DLC on PS3 or Xbox, you will need to contact Sony or Microsoft for a refund.'
This is quite an unsatisfying anwser! At least, tell us why it is not working!
Anyways, I contacted Playstation for a fix or refund. I'll post the infos here when I'll get them.
Ok, got it woking! It is a DLC Region Locked problem. I live in Canada and I bought the game from UK.
