OK, so I had this problem to where my Far Cry 4 wasn't saving so I checked around and I found out that it actually was saving but the game wasn't reading where.
I'm not here to complain but maybe get some help with some trouble shooting.I can't play through the prologue to the game for two reasons. After the opening scene and making my way to the jeep and crashing I run into the problem of not being able to save and quit the game. Keeps telling me that i can't return to the menu while an auto save is in progress. Not Sure why as it is not letting me save.
Problem two happens when i die or reach the end of the prologue it goes to a black screen and sits there. I understand that there was or still is a bug at launch that kept people from launching the game but seeing how this happens every time i die or reach the end i wasn't sure if their connected. I do have the Latest patch and have tried multiple settings and disabling and enabling my sli settings. If someone can help that would be great.
I would submit a support ticket but can't find a straight way to do so. This in many cases will fix your problems If you have the U play only Version of the game you can also verify your game files with U play if you have the game via u play only here are instructions how to verify your game files thru their client. I had opened a support ticket with ubisoft and they were not able to pin what my problem could be.
Since i have posted this so long ago,I have made some changes to my rig. Aka new graphics cards more ram and the like but still have had no luck in getting this game to run.
Even after almost a year i still can't get this game to run past the prologue. Thank you though for trying to help out.
